Michelle Cervonaro

Michelle Cervonaro is a performer and teacher in tap and flamenco dance, from Sydney Australia.

Michelle started dancing at a young age studying jazz, tap and ballet at various schools in Sydney. Michelle’s studies in performance also led her to train in a variety of non-commercial forms of dance, such as butoh and street dance.

Michelle started studying flamenco in 2000, taking courses in Granada, Spain and in Sydney, Australia.

Michelle’s performance background includes a residency with the Diana Reyes Flamenco Company in Sydney; performing in tablao shows and events, as well as appearing in various independent films and TV commercials.

Michelle has also taught at various dance schools in Sydney and extended her teaching to community groups, working with disadvantaged populations.

Now residing in Budapest, Michelle runs FeetBeat dance – Adult dance classes in tap and flamenco that greatly emphasize rhythm and footwork technique.

Michelle also performs around Hungary with Alma Flamenca– a flamenco performance group that fuses elements of Hungarian folk with Flamenco.
